Eric McCullough

Eric McCullough is a guitarist and professor of music located in the Baltimore area. He holds a Master of Music degree from Peabody Conservatory (studying with Julian Gray) and a Bachelor of Music degree from Towson University (studying with Michael Decker).

He currently serves as the Guitar Department Coordinator at Carroll Community College and is also guitar faculty at Towson University. At Carroll Community College he teaches a variety of courses including Applied Guitar Lessons, Guitar Ensemble, Music Theory, Music Appreciation, Music Fundamentals, and more.

Eric plays a Hill Performance Guitar.

Eric specializes in both classical and electric guitar technique. His classical experience is extensive and includes masterclass performances (for Manuel Barrueco, The Katona Twins, Alvaro Pierri, and Paul Galbraith), competition wins (Baltimore Music Club Competition, The Friedmann Gordon Competition, Towson University Talent Award Competition), and a variety of both solo and chamber/ensemble performances. Eric has also performed extensively in a number of different Rock groups and is currently writing, recording, and performing in the band We Love The Underground. Music from Eric's bands have been broadcast both nationally and internationally, and he performs regularly in the Baltimore area.
